    The Myo Munchee ADULT promotes exercise that may tone the muscles in the lips, face, and jaw. Made of medical-grade silicone, it features gentle prongs to massage the teeth and gums, a tongue attractor for optimal tongue positioning, and trimmable extension plates to accommodate different jaw sizes.

  • Sizing Guide

    The Munchee Adult is generally suitable for ages 14 and above. Age should be considered in conjunction with ‘inter-canine width’ — that is, the distance between the top pointy (canine) teeth. The Adult is designed to fit an inter-canine width of 35–40mm. Read our Sizing Guide.

    Standard shipping is available worldwide. Express shipping is available to most destinations excluding the USA. USA and Canadian orders are shipped from Texas, USA. All other orders are shipped from NSW, Australia, via Australia Post.

  • Warranty

    Due to health risks, Myo Munchees which have been opened cannot be returned unless deemed faulty. We will happily replace any first-time device that proves faulty within six months of purchase. View our returns policy.

Our ancestors spent a lot of time chewing, whether it was ripping meat off the bone or breaking down nuts and seeds. Since then, thanks to a modern diet of softer, processed foods, we’ve lost the art of chewing.

  • I’m an adult. Why would I want or need a Myo Munchee?

    The Myo Munchee can be a great way to exercise the lips, face and jaws, with just 10 minutes of chewing per day assisting with lip strength, nasal breathing, jaw function and bone integrity.   • What is the difference between the Myo Munchee Tween and the Myo Munchee Adult?

    It ultimately comes down to the size of the device. The Myo Munchee Adult is the largest Myo Munchee device, suitable for an inter-canine width of 35–40mm. The Myo Munchee Tween is slightly smaller, generally suitable for children aged 8–14 years or with an inter-canine width of 33–37mm or for adults with narrow jaws or a petite build.

  • I am an adult, will the Myo Munchee expand my palate?

    As an adult looking to expand the palate, you will likely need to work with a practitioner such as a functional dentist or orthodontist. The Myo Munchee can be a great tool to use in conjunction with other therapies as it exercises the facial muscles and tongue.

  • Can the Myo Munchee be used with braces, Invisalign, bonded retainers or after orthodontic work?

    The Myo Munchee is a great tool that can be used in conjunction with other dental protocols, including braces, Invisalign, bonded retainers, or after orthodontic work. However, it’s always best to discuss with your treating practitioner when and how to use the Myo Munchee appropriately in conjunction with other protocols.

  • How can I be sure the Myo Munchee Adult will fit?

    Myo Munchee Adult is generally suitable for teenagers aged from 14 years right the way through to adults over 100 years old, as long as the inter-canine width (the distance between the top two pointy teeth) is 35–40mm. The Munchee Adult also comes with backplates you can trim to shorten the overall length of the device.

    As we grow older, our bone density decreases and our muscles lose their strength. When this happens, it may be easier to manage the Myo Munchee Tween rather than the Adult size, especially when chewing and swallowing.

  • My child is in a transition phase between the Myo Munchee Tween and the Myo Munchee Adult. How do I know when it’s the right time to upgrade?

    The Myo Munchee Adult is designed to accommodate the wisdom teeth and stimulate the arch form as the jaw grows. If the 12-year-old molars have not yet erupted, you may find the Myo Munchee Tween will be a better fit. Alternatively, you can trim the backplates to shorten the overall length of the device.

    It will ultimately come down to your teenage child’s inter-canine measurement to determine whether they are ready to move from the Tween to an Adult.

    If in doubt, it may be best to check in with a Munchee Certified Practitioner.

  • How do I clean and store the Myo Munchee?

    The Myo Munchee is made of medical-grade silicone with little prongs inside the arches, which clean the teeth and gums but may also capture food.

    After chewing, we recommend rinsing the Myo Munchee with fresh water. Then give it a good shake to get as much of the water off as possible, dry it off a little with a tissue, and store it in a location with good airflow to dry it out — just as you would a toothbrush.

    For an extra clean, you can occasionally clean with bicarb soda, rinse very well, and then place in just-boiled water for one minute.
